Storm and hurricane procedure
When a storm is named and South Florida is in the cone, we work our active client list by zone. Seasonal displays come down or get secured, and permanent systems get shut down at the controller.

Seasonal displays
Wreaths, garland, palm wraps, and anything freestanding come off first, because those are what move in wind. Roofline line is either removed or tied down depending on the timeline and the forecast track.
Removal and reinstallation ahead of and after a named storm is free for active clients.
Permanent systems
Track and diodes are rated for continuous exterior exposure and stay in place. We power down the controller and pull the low-voltage feed if flooding is expected at the garage.
After the storm we run a full channel test before turning the system back over to your schedule.
Landscape systems
Fixtures stay in the ground. Transformers get shut off, and anything mounted low in a flood-prone bed gets lifted or removed.
Post-storm, the most common issue is a fixture buried or shifted by debris rather than an electrical failure.
After it passes
We work reinstalls in the same zone order, and safety comes before schedule. Nobody goes on a wet tile roof.
